Mailboxes More folders here. Acces your VIP mails, drafts, already sent e-mails, bin and SPAM folder.

Inbox Here you can find all your e-mails.

Sort Tap here to only see your new e-mails.

New E-Mail The blue dot next to the e-mail means that you did not read that e-mail yet.

Read E-Mail You already read this e-mail. You can acces it here again.

New Tap here to write a new e-mail.

Edit Here you can select multiple e-mails at once.

Replied Mail This arrow shows you that you already replied this e-mail.

Mail Folders

Inbox All the e-mails you get from other people.

VIP/Favorites E-mails from contacts you have marked as VIP.

Sent E-Mails you have sent to other people.

Drafts E-Mails you have started to write but not sent yet.

Spam All the e-mails Apple Mail marks as Spam or harmfull.

Bin Your deleted e-mails.

Tap on the eye symbols:

Subject The title of the e-mail.

Sender The name and e-mail adress of the person (or company) that sent the e-mail to you.

Reply-Arrow You can tap on this arrow to reply directly.

E-mail text Here you see all the text of the e-mail. Attachements (documents, pictures,...) are at the bottom.

Up and Down Arrows Here you can switch to the next or previous e-mail.

Folders Here you can put an e-mail into different folders to structure your mail conversations.

  1. Open Mail
  2. Tap on the symbol for new mail
  3. Type in the e-mail adress of the person you want to send the e-mail to
  4. Type in a subject line
  5. Type in your e-mail text
  6. Tap the arrow up at the top right to send the e-mail

  3. Tap and hold inside your e-mail text
  4. A bar with options appears. Scroll to the right > Tap on "Attach File"

Images Here you can attach images from your phone.

Scanned Texts Here you can attach texts that you scanned with your phone camera.

Documents Here you can attach documents that you´ve saved on your phone.

Draw Here you can draw something and add it to your e-mail.
