What does the sport do to your mind ?
sports and health
if you want to know why I'm doing this project ->
'Sport' means all forms of physical activity which aim at expressing or improving physical fitness and mental health, forming social relationships or obtaining results in competition. For me, in this question I consider sport as when you really often practice. When you only do physical activity (like walking or biking to go to school) for me, you don't have the same effects on your mind.
what does it do to your body ?
What for our social relationship?
What for our brains?
Social interaction is essential for a healthy brain. It improves your mood and reduces stress. Playing a sport reduces problems with social isolation because it gives you a chance to make new friends, and allows you to lay aside worries while you enjoy some fun with other people. When you enter a club you can make new friends because you have the same goal so you are working together to get better in the discipline. Personally I have made my best friends in my sport. It is a completely other relationship than with friends from school because you don’t have the same interests in common
sport is important in our social relationships
What about the people that don't do sport?
Regular physical activity can help you sleep and feel better, reduce the risk of some common cancers, and add years to your life inactive compared to those who are active. Picture of body identifying 8 cancers for which regular physical activity can help reduce risk.Being very active can give your immune system a boost, which makes it work more effectively. This means the body gets better at spotting cells which could go on to become cancer.
Doing sport can help your brain by :
Promoting Stress Relief
Playing sport helps you reduce stress because it burns off more of the stress hormone adrenaline. It also releases some feel-good brain chemicals that boost your mood. Sport is spreading endorphins and it is the happiness hormone.
Boosting Blood Flow to the Brain
Research shows that playing sports boosts blood flow to your brain. This enables your body to build more connections between the nerves and the brain. And so this improves memory, stimulates creativity, and helps your brain develop better problem-solving skills.
Reducing your risk of cognitive decline
Regular physical activity can reduce your risk of cognitive decline, including dementia. One study found that cognitive decline is almost twice as common among adults who are inactive compared to those who are active. A cognitive decline leads most of the time to more frequent confusion or memory loss. 11.3% of adults aged over 45 years had SCD (Subjective cognitive decline) and this prevalence increased with decreasing physical activity levels
