"My husband Omar is a French-trained chef whose culinary vision is to fuse Old World French and Italian foods with New World Caribbean flavors. In addition to raising our 10 chickens for eggs, we grow heirloom vegetables. My specialty are hot Scotch bonnet peppers from Jamaica, herbs and black tomatoes. There's something so grounding and relaxing about being outside and just having your hands in the ground assisting Mother Nature."
