  • The Websites you visit
  • Your Position
  • The type of Phone you use
  • Your Settings
  • And a lot more

Even if a Service is free, a company can earn money by collecting information about you.

Most Websites make Money with Advertisements.

When a Company wants to sell their Products, they can put Ads on the Internet. Often they will use a Google Service for that, since many people use them.You have probably seen a lot of Ads, for example on YouTube or Google.

  • How much money you earn

  • If you have Children
  • If you are married

On the following Slides we prepared three simple Settings to change on your phone for better protection.There will also be Step-by-Step Instructions after each Video.

Task 1:

Turn on "Do not track" in your Browser

Step by Step: "Do Not Track"

  1. Open Google Chrome
  2. Tap on the three dots in the upper right corner
  3. Tap on "Settings"
  4. Tap on "Privacy and security"
  5. Tap on "Do Not Track"
  6. Turn on the Slider in the upper right Corner

Disable "Third-Party-Cookies" in your Browser

Step by Step:Third-party Cookies

  1. Open Google Chrome
  2. Tap on the three dots in the upper right corner
  3. Tap on "Settings"
  4. Scroll down and tap on "Site settings"
  5. Tap on "Cookies"
  6. Change the selection to "Block third-party cookies"

Task 3:

Delete your Advertising-ID (This does not delete anything important)

Step by Step:Deleting your advertising ID

  1. Open your Settings
  2. Search for the website you need
  3. Search for the Menu Point "Google"
  4. Tap on "Ads"
  5. Tap on "Delete advertising ID"
  6. Tap on the Blue button "Delete advertising ID"

Congrats!With these settings you have made a great step to pretecting your Data.
