Lombroso believed that a murderer would have small, glassy, bloodshot eyes.

Lombroso believed that a murderer would have a sharp, pointed nose.

Lombroso thought that a criminal was likely to have a large, protruding fore-head which later was linked to the theory of phrenology.

Phrenology, according to the English Dictionary, is the detailed study of the shape and size of the cranium as a supposed indication of character and mental abilities.

Lombroso also claimed that a criminal had a liking for tattoos, cruel games and primeval slang.
