MARADONA STREET ART
The most significant street art of Maradona is located in Naples, precisely in the Spanish quarters we can see the Argentine footballer with the ball at his feet with the shirt and shorts of Napoli and the head exactly coincides with the first floor windows of that house
DIEGO'S MURALES IN NAPLES
JORIT AGOCH
This is the largest mural that was done in honor of Diego it was painted by the italian-Dutch street artist Jorit Agoch. Jorit's notority has seen the light since 2005,thanks to a series of graffiti done in Naples,in the northern suburbs and in the historic center which expressed elements of stylistic originality and were closely linked to the typical expression of traditioal graffiti. I was particularly struck by a sentence by Jorit : "These people deserve beauty,I give my contribution ,I do what can ,I make sure that beauty reacheas the people".
these two countries Italy (more precisely Naples) and Argentina are the counties with which Diego had the most to do in his football and daily life and he remained close in the memories of the two countries to the point of have more than 50 murales painted
I chose him because he gave meaning to many people's lives. He re-demonstrated the democratic nature of sport. He fought and won for the southern hemisphereand for southern Italy, for the social and geographical peripheres, for those who loved him and for those who couldn't bear him. He was able to admit his mistakes, even going so far as to define himself thus: " I am my faults"
why did you choose Diego ArMANDO MARADONA?
