DELUXE METAL MEEPLES

These deluxe metal meeples were designed by Daniel Solis, an art director and graphic designer specialized in board and card games for the Australian company King of the Castle Games, known for its Campaign Coins online store. They sell coins, tokens and other accessories for tabletop and role-playing games.

These deluxe metal meeples were unveiled through a Kickstarter campaign in 2018, where they managed to raise nearly AUD$30,000, although they were initially asking for just AUD$5,000 to fund the project. A complete success!

After the campaign, sets of 8 meeples with the original Carcassonne colors were put on sale, each of them in a metal alloy and with different decorative motifs. In addition, a set of 8 purple meeples was launched, as well as another special collectors' set consisting of 6 meeples, one of each type.

These precious meeples have become a prized possession for many Carcassonneers, both gamers and collectors, and can be purchased from the Campaign Coins online store.

It is also possible to buy them through a North American online store, Wyrmwood Gaming, and occasionally on other websites dedicated to the sale of Carcassonne rarities and curiosities.
