Climate change refers to the earth getting hotter, and some people believe that it's due to human activity. When we burn fossil fuels like coal, oil, and gas, or cut down trees, we release gases like carbon dioxide, nitrous oxide, and methane into the air, which trap heat in the atmosphere
What is Climate Change?
01
2. Changes in precipitation patterns: This is the altered amounts and distribution of precipiation, causing droughts in some regions and floods in others.3.More frequent and intense heatwaves: Climate Change can cause more frequent and severe heatwaves, which can lead to health problems, such as heat strokes, and dehydration.
1. Biodiversity Loss: Cloimate Change can affect ecosystems by altering the timing of seasonal events like flowering and migration
Ways Climate Change Effects Us
02.
02.
1. Turn off lights your not using2. reduce waste: practice recycling, composting, and reducing food waste3. Support renewable energy sources such as solar, wind, or hydropower.4. Walk, bike, or use public transportation instead of driving.
Everyday Things You Can Do To Fight Climate Change
Fun and not-so-fun facts about climate change
1. The top 10 hottest years on record have all occurred since 1998.2. Climate change is causing some plants species to flower earlier in the year, which can affect pollinators and disrupt ecosystems3. The world's oceans have absorbed around 30% of the carbon dioxide produced by human activity, causing them to become more acidic and impacting marine life4. Climate change is causing some animals, such as polar bears and penguins, to struggle to find food and adapt to changing environmental conditions
