Meeting 4: 1 hour
Edits
Meeting 1: 2 hours Prior to this meeting, you should have sent your objective map, updated syllabus, and timeline to the Learning Designer. During this meeting, you will be working on the course outline. The Learning Designer will be working through each individual item with you so come prepared to share learning content items you wish to build along with details on all assignments for the course.
Post Meeting Post Meeting: The Learning Designer will send over the current working copy of the outline for you to review. Please add any comments you feel are necessary and better prepare you for meeting 2.
Meeting 2- 2 hours During this meeting, you will continue to work on your course outline. You will start to finalize the course in this meeting and prepare to send it for final approval to your department chair.
Post Meeting 2 You and the Learning Designer have now finished the course outline. You may be asked to review the document and add minor details. The outline is now ready to be sent to the Department Chair for approval.
Final Approval The course outline is now ready to be sent to the Department Chair for feedback and approval. You may be asked to make additional edits from the Department Chair before final approval is given. After final approval is given you will be given access to the development shell.
Meeting 3: 1 hour During this meeting, we will focus on the process of developing pages, and rubrics, and inputting the grade book. This is your opportunity to practice and ask the Learning Designer questions.
Start the Development! It is now time to start Module 1. After you have completed Module 1 you will send communication to your learning designer letting them know you have completed the first Module of the course. The Learning Designer will set a meeting up to review the first Module.
Meeting 4: 1 hour During this meeting, we will review Module 1 items. We will discuss what is working well and what may need improvement. This is your opportunity to ask questions to the Learning Designer before moving on to the remaining modules. The Learning Designer may give you a list of items that need completed/fixed prior to moving on to the next module.
Edits You may be asked to complete edits for Module 1. You will need to complete all of these edits before moving on to Modules 2-8.
