privacy and data protection

We used a Padlet to share our ideas about the the most common risks when we surf the web.

All the Teachers uploaded materials and activities about data protection and Privacy in aThinglink presentation. We chose Thinglink because this digital tool is very "friendly": it enables you to listen to the text and to change the font size while reading.

a charter for our project

All partners collaborated to produce our project charter, describing our rights and our duties when we surf the Internet. We wrote posts in the Forum about what we need to doa) during the Live sessions (chats, videoconferences) b) when we work in twinspace (type of images, videos, works that we upload) c) when we work in teams on a common product

The suggestions that got more positive comments were included in a poster made by Canva

1. LET'S CHOOSE A GOOD STORY

2. let's learn how to write a drama

Each partner school shared their story in the padlet wall.

Every partner school thought about an outstanding story that could be dramatized in a 3 act play.

key ingredients of our project

Trust

Inspiringeach other

Enthusiasm

Cooperation

Flexibility

Throughout the project the original plan was modified in some parts because we took into consideration the feedback of our pupils, the results of our online events, the mid survey, The keywords were MONITORING - FLEXIBILITY- COOPERATION

Effective communication is the key to working together as a team. We we held a meeting with families to inform them about the project, about Data protection, Copyright. and we got the Privacy consent signed by them-During the meeting families took a survey and they were also given a booklet with a webwise parents' guide to a better Internet.Communication was necessary in order to know the progress of the project, to plan future activities, to give information about the roles for a particular task. The starting point was the sharing of the draft of the Project plan with all the partners by a common google doc. Everyone could make suggestions

Click on the interactive element to read the original plan

sharing

Communication was frequent. We used many channels!

messenger group was created and used for faster information

online meetings were used to discuss about the project plan, activities, and distribution of the tasks

emails were used to sum up what we had said during the videoconferences and to give more detailed information

T.B was used to remind dates or to ask for information

Forums and online meetings with pupils were used to know each other, to share opinions, to discuss, to make decisions

Monitoring had an important role because it allowed us to make adjustments in our teaching methods and strategies but also in the planning of future activities. Moreover it gave us the chance to provide feedback to pupils.A component of monitoring was the systematic observation of pupils at work and play, how they interacted with teachers and with peers,, their involvement in the project activities.

We also considered the results of the pre survey and of the mid survey

  • Do I listen to my pupils' opinions ?
  • How much are they involved in this type of activity?
  • Are my pupils having difficulties
  • to do this task?
  • Are pupils interacting with their peers?
  • Are they collaborating with their team?
  • Is each of them contributing to the final product?
  • Are they respecting deadline?

Click on the Presentations and on the interactive elements to read the results of all surveys

And for the project final evaluation we considered continuity of participation, completion of products, and the final surveys for pupils, teachers and families

assessment

Dissemination is about making the main results/outputs of a project visible to key actors, especially end users, relevant target audience and decision makers. The dissemination of the project to different target groups is contributing to give a high visibility to the institutions/organizations that carried out the project, to inspire other institutions/organizations and to promote new school cooperations for future projects.
