Chiari is an Italian town of 19 164 people in the province of Brescia in Lombardy. It is located in the center of the northern and western part of Bassa Bresciana on the border with Franciacorta, not far from Lake Iseo and the river Oglio.

The mayor is Massimo Vizzardi and the Town Council are fifteen, five women and ten men.
