Open ai was developed by a private company whose founder was Elon Musk, among other bussinessmen. It has revolutioned the way we access to information and some people think it's threatening many people's jobs.
ALEXA was created by the British computer scientist William Tunstall-Pedoe. Since then, many people have bought it to make their lives easier at home.
Although it was originally created in 1981, they weren't available for the general public until this century. They have improved the way people work in many different fields like medicine and engineering, among others.
Steve Jobs introduced the iPhone in 2007, after the iPod had been a great success. Since then, the world of phones has completely evolved and now everybody uses smartphones.
In 2005, brothers Lars and Jens Rasmussen created Google Maps as a solution for people to know how to go from "point A" to "point B" more easily. It has changed how people travel and, since then, many people have never again used paper maps.
In 2004, Mark Zuckerberg launched Facebook when he was studying at the University of Harvard. Since then, milliones of users have created accounts around the world.
WiFi was released for the public in this century, but Hedy Lamarr created the technology earlier in the 20th century. Since the creation of the Internet, knowledge has been much more accesible and now 5 billion people are active internet users.
