Introduction
Even though it may not seem like it, we spend a large amount of water on basic household needs: showering or bathing, washing clothes or utensils, watering the garden, drinking, preparing food... and sometimes we end up wasting it by using more than we need .
Info
A person wastes about 136l of water. In body hygiene a person wastes 31% of the total of water. In washing clothes 14%. If you clean the house 8%. Excrement and urine carryover 36%.

Info
A family of four people wastes about 400l of water per day. The bathroom is the place where a family usually wastes more water. There we take a shower, brush our teeth...

How much do we pay for water?
Denmark is in the leading position with €9.32/m3 followed by Norway with €7.8/m3. Spain is in the lower part of the ranking, with an average price of €1.88/m3. Among the countries with the cheapest water are Greece with €1.23/m3 and Bulgaria with €1.07/m3.
Country
A portable pool for four people requires approximately 3.300 liters of water, which is equivalent to two months of consumption by a family without a drinking water connection.

Info
Info
A full bath wastes about 80l of water. This means it's better to take a shower than having a bath.
bath
A five minute shower wastes 75l. That's why you mustn't take too long under the shower. If you have a hydromassage shower, 13 liters per minute are used, while with a single-lever shower: 8 liters per minute are used. If the shower is electric, 5 liters per minute are used.
a shower
-Close the tap. -Don't leave the tap running while you brush your teeth or shave. -Taking a shower instead of having a bath saves at least 150 liters of water. -Do laundry less often. -Scrub the floor with little water. -Fully fill the washing machine and dishwasher.
Tips to save water
-Make sure your dishwasher is full! Switching from washing by hand to a dishwasher saves 6000 liters a year, it is also important to make sure that when you put a dishwasher on you fill it completely.
-Do not leave the tap running while you wash the dishesKitchen taps run at 9 liters per minute. So every time you do the dishes and leave the faucet running, that's how much water you're wasting per minute.
-Turn off the tapRunning taps waste as much as 6 litres of water a minute. So remember to turn off the tap.
-Keep the sprinklers off If you have a garden then remember to keep the sprinklers off
