The capital cardiff is located on the bristol canal today cardiff is a place of cultural and sporting interest and offers visitors both historical and modern attractions. it became a major city during the industrial revolution for the export of coal.

two of the most important attractions in cardiff are: the castle of galles the principality stadium. today inside the castle you can see medieval-style tournaments, musical performances and cultural and social events. the castle was built on the ruins of an ancient Roman fortress the principality stadium is the home of Welsh rugby. there you can see the welsh national rugby team dressing rooms and walk through the players tunnel onto the turf.

Snowdon is, with its 1,086 meters high, the highest mountain in Wales and - at the same time - the highest mountain in Great Britain among those located south of the Highlands: it is located in the county of Gwynedd, within the national park to which it gives its name and is part of the Snowdon Massif.
