Students, families, and staff can create a concise written and strong mission statement. It is a useful tool for reinforcing an inclusive school culture because it sets out the values, goals, and purpose of the school allowing all participants a sense of ownership.

A commitment to inclusive language is an important attribute of a diverse and inclusive school and is understood, accepted, and used consistently across the school and broader community in all forms of communication.

Inclusive culture is supported through schoolwide opportunities, events, and activities for students. It provides opportunities for staff, students, and families to come together, building connections such as school-community collaboration on various fundraisers.

Inclusive School Cutlure

We are dedicated to forming family-school partnerships that build trust so we can rely on each other with multiple opportunities to have meaningful participation in the children's education. Having trusting family-professional partnerships will provide positive outcomes for students, educators, families, and community members because it enhances students’ learning, positive behaviors, as well as decreased academic gaps between groups of students, including those with disabilities (Francis et al., 2016).

An inclusive school culture has a diversity of needs being welcomed and supported by providing the opportunity for students to achieve high results and goals in an inclusive education that ensures safety, acceptance, cooperation, and stimulation of continuous improvement of the innovated strategies to support the community (Denisova et al., 2019).

This will promote dialogue and result in understanding our families, enhance social skills/connections, and increase positive parenting skills to support the children.

Technology infusion and community resources will support the development of higher-order thinking skills of students and educators because it can track students learning, demonstrate their progress, as well as teachers keeping records of their students’ growth to be able to reflect on the lessons. For instance, using any google platforms, canvas, genial.ly and many other online resources to for peer reviews, discussion, and collaboration with one another.
