Manet
The painter Manet, with a different pictorial technique than usual, does not use shaded colors as usual, but both light and dark colors. The combination of colors that are used to paint the canvas are very evident between light and shadow. In the paint "Il bar delle Folies-Bergére" he represent this girl who is serving a gentleman and she is sad, in the background you can see all the people having fun.
He followed the desire of the Impressionists to make the painting as luminous as possible. To have this effect, he painted on canvas primed with light color. In the paint "Neve a Louveciennes" represent a snowy landscape done with large brush strokes.
