Price discrimination

Pricing by product line Establishing price differences between various products in a product line based on cost differences between products, customer evaluations of different features, and competitors' prices Optional product pricing Pricing of optional products or accessories that may be sold together with the main product Captive product pricing Pricing for goods that must be used in conjunction with a main product, such as razors and software for a video game console Product set pricing Combining multiple products to offer the set for a reduced price

Market penetration pricing is about setting a low price to enter the market quickly and deeply, which means attracting many buyers quickly and gaining a large share.

Is a practice of adjusting the price of a product or service depending on the geographical location of the buyer. A company may offer its products or services at a lower price in one geographic area if the shipping costs are less expensive or if other businesses sell similar goods in that region at a higher pricing point

Price discrimination is a selling strategy that charges customers different prices for the same product or service based on what the seller thinks they can get the customer to agree to. Examples of forms of price discrimination include coupons, age discounts, occupational discounts, retail incentives and gender based pricing.
