- Afganistan was a feudal society - The USSR was interested in the territory, developing and influencing in political changes. - USA was also helping economically.

- The Soviet Union left the country with political instability and a great hunger crisis. - Mujahidinnes were divided in different groups of war lords, that wanted to take the power - In 1996 the talibans took the power
- USA stated that they wanted to dismantel al-Qaeda, which has ejecuted the September 11th attacks - This invasion was supported by NATO allies - They removed the taliban government from the power
They were orphan refugees that had to flee the country and were educated in the Madrasas, schools situated in the border with Pakistan and founded by Saudi Arabian families.
The United States Armed Forces completed their withdrawal from Afghanistan on 30 August 2021, marking the end of the 2001–2021 war.
- Ideological division between the communists who were in favor of the development and modernization of the country and the nationalists formed by the Mujahiddin who were pro Islamic and supported by the USA and didn't want any other country to intervene.
