Vittorio Gassman is born in a Genova's neighborhood called Strutta on september 1 1922, but he had a different last name: he was called Vittorio Gassmann (with two "n").He was one of the most famous italian actor and he lived from 1922 to 2000.When he was six years old he moved to Rome, where he continued studies and enrolled in the National Academy of Dramatic Art.

He joined several films and shows:He was called Il Mattatore and he had three marriages and three other important stories that did not end with the wedding. From these unions he had 4 children, including the actor Alessandro Gassman.He died at 77 years old from an heart attack.On his tombstone he decided to put the frase: "Non fu' mai impallato".
