The Quebrantahuesos literally is a bird that drops the bones of other birds in a rock so they break and can eat more easier.

its scientific name is gypaetus barbatus.Is a scavenger bird like Vultures.It is a species of accipitriform bird in the Accipitridae family.Widely different from others similar birds of prey.

The reasons why it is extinct is that the 60,7% die of toxic intake. 10,7% were hunted.7,1% were electrocutated because the wires. 3,5% die because there babies born on electrical wires.

Some regions of Spain,Europe and North Africa this bird is extint. But we can found this bird in the Cordillera Cantabrica,Pyrenees,Andorra and Central Europe.
