Basic Standards in Foreign Language Learning

The basic standards in foreing language learning are a set of objectives to be achieved, encouraging the development of communicative skills in the institutional educational system, establishing the know and know to do of each student. These standards provide the ability to develop linguistic, sociolinguistic and discursive skills in order to allow the strengthening of cognitive, socio-affective and communicative skills based on the English languge and the different levels of mastery achieved by each student.

Common european framework of reference for languages proposes six levels of achievement in order to the students of basic and secondary education achieve level B1.

General standard defines the level of achievement in the language, describing to colombian children and youngers that must know and know to do.
