Do not dig up the plants or touch the roots in any way. Disturbing the soil or roots during this process can stimulate growth, so we want to be cautious!Please try not to harm any native plants that are in or near the stand. These plants will revegetate the area and will form a defence against any Phragmites that grows back.

Please DO NOT compost invasive Phragmites! The plant material can survive composting and will regrow in the area!
