The NSO has shared with us that they are facing financial difficulties in their country and NSO, and have asked for a postponment of their payment of Membership Fees.
Discussions have taken place with the RD and financial department to review the request.
Objective of NSO visit:
- To meet with the NSO leadership on their growth commitment progress
- To support the NSO in discussions with National government
Highlights of NSO visit:
- The NSO is completed half of their identified projects to support their growth commitment
- Growth has become a key topic in their regular leadership meetings
- The National government is keen to build stronger ties with the NSO
- The National government brought up discussion around child and youth protection measures within the NSO
- Helped the NSO put in a service request for SfH
- Notified that they will have their General Assembly on 5 May 2020.
Actions:
- Set a follow up call with NSO in 2 months to further discussion on progress of growth committment
Further support:
- NSO could need additional support in the governance structures of their NSO when their new board is elected
