Importance of Mission Statement
• Your mission statement aligns with your people and your organization, which will help you accomplish your vision.• Did you know a mission statement is part of an organization’s Strategic Plan? • Mission statements are widely circulated and discussed often, so their meaning is widely understood, shared, and internalized. • All employees should be able to talk about your organization’s mission statement. • A mission statement adds validity to an organization and demonstrates thought leadership, reputability, and inspiration to potential investors, employees, and donors.
