It is located in Abruzzo (in the center of Italy) on a hill..Abruzzo is a mountainous region that borders the Adriatic Sea. There are national parks and natural reserves, For this reason it is called "the green region in Europe".

The Istituto Omnicomprensivo di Alanno is made up of: infant schools, primary schools, middle schools, an Agricoltural technical school and an Agricoltural professional school (vocational school).Schools are in three villages: Alanno, Cugnoli and Cepagatti.

We have two Infant schools: one in Alanno and the other one in Cugnoli.Children between 3 and 5 attend this school. They play and learn. Each school has a school canteen where children eat and a small garden where children can play and relax.

ITAS Alanno

The Agricoltural Technical School of Alanno was founded in 1859. It is for students from 14 to 18/19.They study Italian, Biology, Maths, Chemistry, Phsysics, Livestock production, Agricolture and so on. The school curriculum is divided into five years and three areas: -production and transformation;-environmental and landing management;-enology..

Our school has got a Boarding school where students who live far away can sleep and eat. There are about 40 students (all boys) with 6 tutors who help students to do homework,. the tutors also organise other recreational and cultural activities carried out in the indoor and outdoor equipped spaces. You can stay at the "Convitto" all week long and go home at the weekend. Cooks prepare quality lunches and dinners. One of the most important additional activity is sport, particularly football..Students pay about 1100 euros per year.
