Summary
A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens tells the story of Ebenezer Scrooge, an old man who transforms his miserly ways after four ghostly visits one Christmas Eve. On Christmas Eve, Scrooge is visited by a series of ghosts, beginning with his former business partner, Jacob Marley. The three spirits that follow, the ghosts of Christmas past, Christmas present and Christmas to come, show Scrooge how his mean-spirited behaviour has affected those around him.
My personal opinion
In my opinion it is a very interesting book that people should read because it tells the story of an old man who hates Christmas and everything related to it, and little by little he realises what it means.
