OUR INSTITUTE
- Infant school is for children from 3 to 5 (not compulsory)
- Children are at school from 8 am to 4 pm (from Monday to Friday)
- Teachers work on the development of children’s identity, autonomy and to start the awareness of being “citizens of the world”
- There are different labs: Drama, Art, English, Safety, Storytelling, ICT
Infant school
- Primary school is for children from 6 to 10
- Children are at school from Monday to Friday (only in one school on Saturday too)
- Children stay at school for 28 - 30 hours a week with only one afternoon class
- Primary school aims at the acquisition of basic learning. Children have the opportunity to develop cognitive, emotional, affective, social, bodily, ethical and religious dimensions and to acquire essential knowledge
- Children study Italian, Maths, Science, History, Geography, English, Technology, Music, Art, Sport, Religion.
- Extra activities: Drama, English, Outdoor activities, sport
Primary school
- Middle school is for children from 10 to 14
- Children are at school from Monday to Friday (only in one school on Saturday too)
- Children stay at school for 30 hours a week (only one class has afternoon hours)
- Children strenghten the development of cognitive, emotional, affective, social, bodily, ethical and religious dimensions
- Students study Italian, Maths, Science, History, Geography, English, French, Spanish, I.T., Music, Art, P.E. and R.E.
- Extra activities: English labs, robotics, drama music and singing, Green labs, Cinema, Sport
Middle school
- The Agricultural Techinal School was founded more than 163 years ago
- Students are from 14 to 19
- Students stay at school for about 32 hours a week (one aftertoon class on Tuesday and only for class 1 on Thursday)
- They study technical subjects related to Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Maths, Agriculture, Animal Production, Enology
Itas di Alanno
The Vocational Agriculture school of Villareia is a small school: - there are only three classes;
- there are a lot of special needs students who find a very inclusive staff
- teaching methodologies are based on collaborative and laboratory approaches and students spend a lot of time in the green area outside the school.
