ITALY-ic 1/pontecorvo

Bats are the only mammals capable of flying, thanks to a membrane stretched between the toes of the forelimbs, very elongated and thin, like the ribs of an umbrella. Widespread throughout the world, bats are mainly insectivorous, although there are species adapted to feed on fruits, small vertebrates and even fish, nectar or blood. Nocturnal species have an efficient orientation system in the dark, through the emission and perception of ultrasound

Bats always inspire more fear and many legends have flourished about them.

Guess which one

Bees are insects that they feed nectar from flowers and they produse honey. They live in beehives and they have a queen, workers bees and drone bees. Workers bees clean the hive, collect pollen and nectar to feed to whole colony, and take care of the babies.

A drone bee's only job is to mate with the queen to create new bees.

Bees can drop pollen while they’re flying, which helps pollinate other flowers and plants. This creates symbiosis and allows plants to keep growing, which keeps our air breathable.

We need bees in order to survive!
