Gothic features:

Create a mindmap of sorts, where you are able to plan out your writing, starting from the larger features and then moving onto the smaller details. REMEMBER: Description is a static analysis. When decribing a setting, try to imagine it as a picture.

Narrative hooks are key to successful Gothic Literature. Plan out your narrative hook before you begin your writing.
