With gaming, students can develop a creative confidence in solving problems and self-assessments of their own efforts and outcomes. There are so many different types of games and so many ways to foster creativity in game-based learning.

Feedback in games is almost constant.

Immediate feedback can give a sense of accomplishment and also show students what they need to improve on to move forward in the game.

Example: If playing a game with a leader board, students will try to stay motivated to be on the leaderboard. 
Also gives students something to look forard to in classes.
