-Always quote the author

‘Including quotes always strengthens our presentation. Break the monotony.’

2 ) I am aware of the possible dangers my students may be exposed in the internet?

The answers our partner teachers give to this question shows that our teachers are consicous about the possible dangers .When we evaluate this question together with the other answers given we think that partner teachers’ consciousness about internet safety is high and and they are determined about helping their pupils benefit from internet in a safe way

3 ) I warn my students about the possible dangers they may face on the internet?

4) My parents are aware of the possible dangers of internet for their children

But we think that our parents’ consciousness about internet safety is not high enough . Parents’ participation in internet safety education is of great importance. So , we also aim to encourage our parents to take part in activities

5) I know how to behave if I see that one of my students being hurt or put on risk online?)

The answer to the question “ I know how to behave if I see that one of my students being hurt or put on risk online “ shows that some of our teachers feel confidents about how to behave in such a situation but about half of our partner teachers don’t feel confident about how to behave in an “ emergency “ in terms of internet safety. So, in the end of the project we aim that we will feel much more confident about helping our students in terms of internet safety.

6 ) Can you always be sure of the source and reliability of the internet data you use?

About half of the partner teachers say that they can't be sure of the relialibity of the internet data. This shows the importance of teaching our students how to reach reliable date in a safe way.

7) Are you aware of how to handle cyberbullying, excessive internet use or other internet related situations at your school?

From the list below, choose the three most common internet-related problems you face with your students.

The second most common problem is “ lack of parental supervision “.Unfortunately , the level of consciousness in terms of “internet safety “ is not high enough and most of the parents are not willing enough to spare time to control what their children do in the internet.

In the questions we asked the three most common internet-related problems the partner teachers face with your students we see that the most common problem is over exposure and exessive use of internet. It is clear this is a problem that affects our students negatively in many ways and it necessiates collabrative work by parents , teachers and even the other professionals together.

Considering the answer given to our questions we see that the activities we plan to carry out during the project will be beneficial both for students , parents and also for teachers .

Access to inappropriate content , disclosure of personal data and fake news also seem to be common problems that partner teachers face .
