GEOGRAPHICAL LOCATION OF ENGLAND

England is part of the United Kingdom and without Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland has a population of about 55 million. It covers the southern and central part of the UK, occupying over 130,000 km² and is entirely located on the island. The capital of England is London.

The United Kingdom is a parliamentary monarchy. The royal throne is hereditary. From 1952, Elizabeth II of the House of Windsor sat on the English throne. She was the head of state and the head of the Church of England. She died on September 8, 2022, and since then her son Charles III has been king.

London School of Economics-officially known as the London School of Economics and Political Science, or LSE. It is a public research university located in Westminster, central London. Founded in 1895, it is a federal university of the University of London. One of the most important universities specializing in economics and social sciences.

University of Oxford-was founded in 1167 and is the oldest university in Great Britain. It constantly occupies a place in the top ten of all world university rankings. In the English tradition, the University of Oxford and the University of Cambridge are collectively called Oxbridge. Both of these universities compete against each other in the annual rowing competition The Boat Race.

University of Cambridge-British State University in Cambridge, East England. It is the second oldest English university after the University of Oxford , founded in 1209. It is one of the best universities in Europe and in the world.

1) Children's favorite holiday is definitely Christmas Eve. Toddlers then hang socks on the fireplace and wait with trembling hearts for gifts from Father Christmas. 2) Guy Fawkes Night or Bonfire Night is famous for burning puppets in bonfires. 3) On Remembrance Day, the English wear red poppies as a symbol of remembrance of those who died during the war. 4) National Morris Dancing ━ National Morris Day is a very colorful holiday, throughout May people assume colorful costumes, take white scarves and dance national dances. Such performances can be seen in small villages. 5) Let's also remember about the fantastic changing of the guard, which takes place every day in front of the Buckingham Palace.

Pudding- is often made of flour, fat and eggs, sweet (with fruit) or savory (stuffed or served with meat), boiled or baked.
