PROJECT SUMMARY Create an emblematic stamp that pays homage to First Nations in Canada and shows off a plant or an animal using an explosion of colour reminiscent of beading techniques among certain Indigenous peoples and the works of Jean Paul Riopelle. LEARN MORE +

- Thick white Bristol board
- Thick white Mayfair style cardboard
- Sheet of white paper
- Glue stick
- Different colours of liquid gouache (gouache with metallic colours can be used)
- Objects with a rounded tip for printing (old pencils, cotton swabs, etc.) or a squeezable container of gouache that allows students to work with small dots
- Black drawing ink
- Square brush
- White oil pastel
- Masking tape
- Scissors
- Sink with running water
