PROJECT SUMMARY
Create an emblematic stamp that pays homage to First Nations in Canada and shows off a plant or an animal using an explosion of colour reminiscent of beading techniques among certain Indigenous peoples and the works of Jean Paul Riopelle.

Thick white Bristol board
Thick white Mayfair style cardboard
Sheet of white paper
Glue stick
Different colours of liquid gouache (gouache with metallic colours can be used)
Objects with a rounded tip for printing (old pencils, cotton swabs, etc.) or a squeezable container of gouache that allows students to work with small dots
Black drawing ink
Square brush
White oil pastel
