PROJECT SUMMARY
Create a painting with an all over composition by painting with spontaneous gestures.

MATERIAL
- Sketchbook
- Pencils
- Eraser
- Large format rigid white cardboard
- Recycled cardboard, like an old box
- Liquid white glue
- Acrylic paint (yellow, blue, red, white and black) or Semi-liquid gouache (yellow, blue, red, white and black) + corn starch (half as much corn starch as you have semi-liquid gouache)
- Containers with covers to prepare the thickened gouache recipe
- Square brushes
- Painting knives (spatulas) or other tools or recycled materials that can be used to spread paint
- Containers for applying paint
- Matte water-based polymer varnish
- Black and white photocopies (tabloid format) of images from Google Maps showing aerial views of an area near your school that features a body of water
- Plastic tablecloth to protect the tables
- Sink with running water
- Internet access
