1. It was challenging having twins. The first month was alright, but in the second month she had a lot of nausea. Around the 5th month twins made her feel really heavy and lethargic. When sleeping around the 7th month, when twins travel too far up, they would put pressure on the diaphragm. This made it difficult to breath. 2. I was named in reference to the one of the strongest female deities in hindu mythology, Durga. My mom believed i should face all hardships well, similar to the powerful goddess.3. Some names, if me and my twin were girls was also Sita and Geeta. If we were boys, there was a joke that we should be called Ding and Dong.
Prenatal Development
My mom had a c-section which lasted an hour. As a newborn, my weight was 2.2 pounds and I was ~19 inches. First tooth: 9 monthsFirst step: 10 months Potty trained: 18 months First lost tooth: 7/8 years old the average weight for a baby: 7 lbsThe average time babies take their first step: 12 months My current vision is a prescription of -1 and I got glasses at age 13.
Physical Development
Puberty - maturation of the body and the start-up of the reproductive cycle. While lots of hormones are unstable and out of balance, the growth of a person may also occur mentally.Early and late bloomers short story:There were two friends who were both 15. One didn’t hit puberty yet, so she had child-like features. She was short, and her body structure and bones were small. Some things she didn’t like was how she wasn’t taken seriously, and was considered childish. Some conveniences were not having mood swings, and she didn't deal with menstruation. The other friend, was an early bloomer, maturing at around nine years old. She used to feel awkard because she looked more grown up and different, and she couldn’t enjoy her childhood as much because of mood swing and early menstruation. However, she appreciated getting respect for looking older. She liked that people found her attractive for looking mature, but she faced early harassment.
Physical Development (2)
First Phonemes: I said “ta” and “brr” a lot First morpheme: “No” because me and my sister were mischevious, and my mom used to say “no” to me all the time. When I was a baby, I used to blow a kiss whenever my mom said “flying kiss”. I also had a strangle babble language that only me and my twin sister could comprehend.
- I was a clear speaker, and language came easy to me.
Language Development
I was attached to my mom because I felt safe when I was a little baby and became attached through touch.Imprinting happens when a young animal form attachment with the first thing it sees. this theory doesn't support my attachment. I did not form attachment to any object.Lack of attachment, may created lack trust, and poor cooperation skills, as well as anxious, avoidant, or fearful attachment styles.early childhoofaodf photo
Social-Emotional Development
when I was little, I used to pretend to be a princess with my sister, and we would do a tea party.Sensorimotor -> Preoperrational: when a child advances from a stage of object permanence and stranger anxiety, to pretend play and ego. Ex. I started to play pretend. This also happened whenever people would tell me stories to imagine. Preoperational -> Concrete operational: when a child advances from a stage of pretend play and ego to conservational and math skills. Ex. I imagined cutting pizza when solving math problems. Concrete operational -> Formal operational: when a child advances from a stage of Conservational and math skills to deciphering morality. Ex. When reading stories, I had to go past logic and laws to understand that morals were important.
Cognitive Development
Challeges faced in stage 5 and 6 of the erikson model.
The need to be loved is always prevalent, especially in young adults. In this stage, success make them feel a sense of desirability, while failing causes a feeling of unworthy- ness. The Intimacy v. Isolation stage is difficult because it involves a relation to others, and the ability to form connections with people. Even the timing of this stage is disadventageous, because everyone is in different places as a young adult. Some are in college, some work jobs, some stay home, and some are taking breaks; all of which are momentary states. It would be difficult to keep long term relations, and it also depends on your social abilities from highschool. The way highschool is going now makes it easy to belive that I may be prone isolation. The idea of trying to make and maintain relations seems daunting, and doing so while becoming independant is difficult. (1/2)

After that, there comes the middle adult stage, where they face Creativity v. Stagnancy. This is the stage where many hope to contribute to the world, and failing to do so leaves a feeling of stagnancy. This is an equally difficult stage to be in, because feeling like they dcontribute to the world is something that depends on their actions. Some people may not feel like adeqate contributors if they live to help themselves, even if helping themselves was all they could do at the time. Often at this age many people say that middle aged adults are settled, and tell them they can’t try new things, or do new things that can contribute. Highschool currently, feels like a building ground for how my future year may go. This may contribute to the idea of stagnancy through the idea that the path we choose in highschool, is what we have to stick with.

My moral development were shaped into striving for generosity and kindness by my parents. However, some of my morals differ in small ways, like how people should react to things, or achieve things.the three Kohlberg stages are:preconventional - following rules to gain a reward or avoid a punishmentconventional - following rules for everyone to work better togetherpostconventional - bending rules for a greater good/moralKohlberg would likely explain my moral development as conventinal morals.
