Content
Conditional sentences connect two things: a condition and a result. Something happens as a result of something else, or happens only if a certain condition is met.
What is If Conditional Sentence?
The Conditional sentences type 1 is used to talk about things which are possible in the present or the future. It is generally used for things which may happen.
Usage
If + Simple Present, Subject + will/won’t + Verb.
Structure
If it rains, I will stay at home. If I wake up late, I will miss the bus. If it‘s sunny, we‘ll go to the park. If Juan leaves, Paula will be sad.
Example
You can reverse the order of the clauses. If the “if” clause comes first, a comma is usually used. If the “if” clause comes second, there is no need for a comma. I will stay at home if it rains I will miss the bus if i wake up late
