Turkish National Song- Bir Başkadır benim Memleketim

It can also help you to express yourself better and reduces your stress

Listening to music can help you connect and communicate to other people.

Indeed, music has a positive effect on emotional well-being, including improving mood, decreasing anxiety, and managing stress.

Vasilis K., 1rst Grade, Senior High School of Aperi, Greece

Although music can be entertaining and help people express ideas, its also a part of their culture. To be more spectacular, our traditional literature, national anthems and emblems, contain music that sounds better, and that's what makes themagic. The most important impact that musicdoes in our lives nowadays is throughadvertisement. When companies want to promote their products in more productive way,all they got to do is add some music to their adso they catch the buyer's interest. When goodmusic is added, it increases the buyerswillingness to buy the product. In conclusion, music is a great tool for entertainment, advertisement, and knowing ourhistory, but it must be used in the right way.People should always be careful about whichrappers they are listening to and respect othersmusical taste, as this is what makes everyonespecial.

Music Music.......Others call it mousiki, musika, musica but the meaning is the same. Music has been a part of human history for thousands of years and its job was to entertain people. In acient times, musicians could only produce noises from using natural materials, but now we can produce the noises we need to create music using our laptops, which although beneficial, can have many downsides.Nowadays, because of the fact that music can be so easily made, people do not put any effort in it and they end up making music that is no good and has no meaning, the so-called rap. You see teenagers like this kind of music because they think they look cool listening to it, but what they don't understand is that they end up adopting the same visions and ideas as the producer's. Of course, as in any kind of music there are some ideas imprinted and they somehow can change the fan's character in terms of behavior and ideology. This is not only for rap music; every kind of music displays those things but what makes a difference here, is that rap does not display any proper exclamation or a good behavior towards others, and people end up doing the same things.

MUSIC MUSIC.....MOUSIKI

World-widely known Social Media services are constantly embodying themselves in our daily lives. Surely, it has both positive and negative sides to it, however it requires carefulusage. As teenagers, we need to be aware of the impact they have on us and the dangers they may hide. Social Media are one of the main activities in a teenager's day. They offer us an easier way of communication with our peers and family, despite the distance that might be separating us. We are able to keep in touch with them by sending text messages and even by calling them. Additionally, we can share our thoughts , activities and memories by posting them and give our followers the ability to see them. Another way Social Media can benefit us is broaden our horizons. Specifically, we get the chance to learn about a plethora of places around the world, some that we may not even have heard of, and information about them, their culture and traditions. We also learn about important situations, and movements that take place worldwide. However, they are not only good for us, but hide many hidden dangers. We see uploads of other people we know, or influencers, the same way they can view ours. Most of the time, their content contains advertisements, or shows an extra-ordinary way of life. In the first case, they make us consider buying items we do not need, and get us used to spending money on non-sense. In the second case, we might get jealous of how beautiful their body or life looks and try to resemble them. This can cause mental and eating disorders like depression and anorexia. Moreover, the careless use of Social Media can harm us. Analytically, oversharing information is a mistake many people do. This way even strangers can find out where we live or gaps in our daily life cycle. In addition, there are many hackers that can make their way into our accounts, with just one mis-click we make. They can make us look bab by sharing fake pictures or statements, making it look as if we had shared it.

IS social media invading our lives?

@# Ioanna@ A., 1rst Grade, Senior High School of Aperi, # Greece

To sum up, although Social Media offers us a variety of things and makes our lives easier and more entertaining, it can also harm us. This means that we need to be very careful with our activities and who we trust on the Internet. There are many cases of murders.or suicide cases caused by mistakes connected whith the misuse of Social Media, and we surely do not want us, nor our friends to be the next victims

THE IMPACT OF SOCIAL MEDIA ON TOURISM

Nowadays, people, and espcially teenagers, are searching everything on the internet, including their next tourist destination. Social Media has effected tourism. People, these days, have the belief that watching a video of someone who has visited an island, for example, they immediately end up that they have learnt everything about it, which is not true. Watching videos on social media has nothing to do with real life. Visiting an island or any other place you want is much different. By travelling you learn how to communicate with other people, also you have the capacity to taste the traditional food of the place you choose to go, learn about their culture and you can explore the nature. Additionally, social media is presenting only one side of the coin. They show only what they choose to, so people are looking at their posts do not really know the whole image. In coclusion, the experience of travelling and visiting an island or a village or any other place, is not comparable to looking images through social media.Nikoleta B, 2nd Grade, Senior High School of Aperi, Greece

Psychology

Therefore, adolescence is a unique and formative time. Physical, emotional, and social changes, including exposure to poverty, abuse, or violence, can make adolescents vulnerable to mental health problems. Protecting adolescents from adversity, promoting socio-emotional learning and psychological well-being, and ensuring access to mental health care are critical for their health and well-being during adolescence and adulthood.
Adolescence can be a confusing and unsettling time for young adults. Changes to their bodies, their interests, and their social relationships cause them to question who they are and how they fit into the dynamic and confusing world around them. They question their place in their family, with their friends, with their teachers, and with others around them. This is a time of increased self-awareness, self-identity, self-consciousness, preoccupation with image, and concern with social acceptance.

Peer Pressure

But it can be negative, too. Some teenagers might be influenced to try things they would normally not be interested in, such as smoking or taking part in antisocial behavior. Teenagers with low self-esteem, who feel they have few friends, and sometimes those with special needs, might be more likely to give in to peer pressure. They might feel that the only way to be included and accepted in a social group is by taking on the group's behavior, attitudes, and look.

Peer pressure is about being influenced and doing something you would not otherwise do, hoping to become accepted and valued by others. Peer pressure can be positive, for example, you might be influenced to become more assertive, more involved at school, or try new activities.

Teenagers have to face some problems during adolescence

Anorexia nervosa

Teenagers' Health problems

It can be really hard to love your body, especially because the media tell us we should always be thinner. People are never really satisfied with their figures and teenagers often hate the way they look. However, teenagers sometimes tend to overreact and may decide to eat less or not to eat at all. If they look in a mirror and feel fat even though they are not, they may have Anorexia Nervosa. This is an eating disorder that makes people lose more weight than is considered healthy for their age and height. Anorexia is more common in females but male can have it, too.
