Sir francis drake was born in tavistock, England.
Drake was interested in sailing because he loved to explore and find treasure.
sir francis drake sailed from Isthmus to panama. He also sailed from atlantic to new york in 1572.
He went on his voyage to get spanish treasure and bring it back home to his countrey.
Drake was sponcered by queen elisibith in his voyage and had lots of support from her.
Sir francis drake had probloms throughout the way like being trapped by a spanish atack.
He was very succsesful and returned with lots of money from a spanish ship that he shared with lots of people

Drake grew up working on a ship, he was the oldest of 12, his dad was a minister at the navy, he never went to a real school,but learned at home, and he had his first vogage at age 18.
Sir fracis drake dided in 1596 because of a bad sickness and a uncontrallable fever.
