Kindness journal
In all my life, kindness has always been a part of me. My parents thaught me everything about it and I'm really grateful for that. I did acts of kindness since I was young but today, I want to do more for my family, my friends and the society. In this text I will present you some actions I did in the past and five of them I did recently.
Last year, I did some recipes in the time of christmas for all my family. I made fudge, shortbread cookies, sugar fudge and candycane cookies. My family loved them and were really happy to have some desert while vacation.
Five acts of kindness I did in the past
Last year, my aunt needed a babysitter for my cousin of 2 years old and I proposed to do it. She wanted to pay me but I refused. She was going to a diner with my uncle for their 19 years together as a couple. I wanted that they could celebrate with peace and they were really happy and thankful.
When I was young, I was like 8 years old, I decided to make pancakes for my father and my mother in the morning. So I set an alarm for 8 o'clock am and I made a breakfast in bed for my parents and my mom couldn't believe that I did this all by myself.
When I was 10 years old I saved my dog Bally. My dad, my sister and I were looking for a dog on the internet and we decided to go check if there was puppies announced at the veterinary. Surprisingly, there was a little dog of four months about to be euthanized. The veterinarian explained to us that the other master beat it and that Bally became aggressive and he wanted to euthanize it. Finally, we took it to save our dog of a certain death and we are really happy to have Bally.
When I was about 3 years old, I saw my little sister Emilia who was not even 1 year old, takes a medicine and I told my mother. My mother brings her to the hospital and they took care of her. So whitout knowing what I was doing I saved the life of Emilia.
Firstly, I have a friend who had a hard time doing his coming out, he didn't want to disappoint his friends and his family. So, the September 27th 2022, I decided to help him with this, we had a lot of talking and I convinced him to tell the truth to everyone he loves. Happily, he was really thankful that I helped him and everybody was happy for him after his declaration.

Secondly, since the beginning of the session I gave a lot of ride to my friend Meggane because she doesn't have a car and she lives in Baie-des-Sables so it's really far from the school. She's really happy that I do this for her and Meggane keeps saying that when she will have her licence she will do the same thing for me.
Thirdly, the October 4th 2022 my boyfriend and I were doing laundry at my parents house. Later, I called my mom to know when they were coming and she said that they would be late and we decided to do the diner for them. We did a recipe from HelloFresh and my mother was really happy because she wouldn't have to do something to eat but my father was angry because we didn't do the dishes.
Fourthly, my best friend Meggane helps me since the November 8th 2022 because my boyfriend can't use his car because he's searching for insurance and she gives me rides to do my shopping. We went to the grocery store, Walmart and Dollorama. I think I said thank you to her a thousand times.
Fifthly, since the December 26th 2021 my boyfriend drives me everywhere because I don't have a licence, I'm too scared to drive. I'm really grateful because I know it's not everyone who would do that for their partner and he is really understanding.
Finally, I think that I did a lot of good actions in my life but I know that there's never enough of them, never too much acts of kindness we can do for make everyone happy. Also, we can do better, if everybody do something each time they can, we would live in a world where almost all of us will be happy because we helped them.
Thank you!
