COOKING SECTION

1. At the beginning of the process of preparing the Christmas cupcakes, we heat the oven to 170°C and place the cupcake papers on the trays.2. While the oven is heating up, we are going to beat the sugar with the butter until it whitens and doubles its volume (it should look like whipped cream).

ELABORATION

INGREDIENTS:150 gr. of butter • 150 grams. of sugar • 3 eggs L • 150 grams. prepared for biscuits (or flour and its corresponding impeller) • 1 tablespoon vanilla essence • 4 tablespoons of milk FOR FONDANT • 60 ml. of cold water • 10 gr. neutral gelatin powder • 125 ml. liquid glucose • 15 ml. glycerin • 700 - 1000 grams. icing sugar sifted twice (see note) • Food colorings

3. Then, we add the eggs one by one, beating well. Then, we add the sifted flour (along with the yeast if used separately) and mix everything well. 4. Finally, add the vanilla essence and milk and mix again. 5. Once the cream of the cupcakes is made (it is valid for any cupcake recipe; they do not have to be for Christmas), we proceed to fill the papers up to a little less than half of their capacity, and we put them in the oven for 15- 20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. They should be firm to the touch and have risen evenly. 6. Next, we remove the cupcakes or muffins from the mold and place them on a rack until they cool completely. Preparation of the fondant and decoration of the Christmas cupcakes: 1. In order to decorate the cupcakes for Christmas, we start by putting the water in a saucepan and adding the gelatin in the form of rain. Let it rest for a few minutes until it becomes fluffy. Then, we put the saucepan in a soft water bath (very hot water that does not boil) and stir until all the gelatin has dissolved. 2. Next, we are going to add the glucose and glycerin to the gelatin (still in a water bath) stirring everything well so that it is thoroughly mixed. 3. Remove from the heat and add the mixture to the icing sugar that we will have in a large bowl. We also incorporate the desired colorant. If you want to make more than one color to make Christmas cupcakes like the ones in the photo, you will have to make separate parts with the dough. 4. Then, we beat everything well until the fondant mass is manageable. 5. We dump the preparation on a worktop and knead until it no longer admits any more sugar and a perfectly manageable dough remains. 6. And at this point, you have to make thin sheets of fondant with each color of dough (green, red, white and flesh), and then make the drawings. 7. For the Santa Claus cupcakes with dangling legs, we will make small balls with the dough of each color, and we will mold it as if it were plasticine... Ready, some delicious cupcakes perfectly decorated for the Christmas parties.

Ingredients• 2 bananas. • 1 lemon. •Clouds. • 8 strawberries. • Skewers sticks. •Chocolate noodles. • Red Lacasitos.

Elaboration: We cut the bananas into pieces like the ones in the image and sprinkle with the lemon juice so that it does not turn dark. We prick the banana on the skewer sticks, then the cloud and finally the strawberry. To make the eyes we use the chocolate noodles and for the nose the red lacasito. Ready to eat

The idea of creating a new passenger service to connect western Europe with the Asian southwest arose from George Nagelmackers. His company was the firts in Europe to introduce sleepers and dinings cars. This idea was set in into practice in the United States by George Pullman. On the fourth of October in 1883 the CIWL inaugurated the called Express d'Orient.
