PRESENTACION FINAL ROMA

ROME

SUNDAY On the first day we were very nervous about meeting our italian hosts

We became friends. We started to hang out and to eat toghether everyday. We liked spending time together. This was the moment we realised that this would be a great experience!

We learned important things about the EU doing activities in groups.We also created slogans to save the enviroment. In the afternoon we visited monuments like the Colosseum, San Giovanni and Piazza Venezia .

FIRST DAY, AT SCHOOL

Monday

In the morning we had a video conference with a member of the FAO, who explained us all we needed to know about this institution. Then, we visited the Vatican where we entered the beautiful basilica di San Pietro. In the afternoon we went sightseeing in Rome. We saw Trastevere and Castel Sant'Angelo.

THIRD DAY, THE PARLAMENT

Wednesday

On wednesday we visited the European Parliament. We acted as members of the Parliament and realised how hard it was to compromise and stay true to your beliefs at the same time.It was really fun. In the afternoon we visited Rome and we saw the Pincio, Piazza del Popolo and the Fontana di Trevi. Where we all threw coins into the fountain.

We spent this day visiting the places of Rome we had not seen before. We saw the Colosseum from the inside and we learnt everything about it. Our Italian friends prepared presentations about all the monuments. We also visited the Foro Romano, the view was great and we could see all the monuments we had visited the previous days.

FOURTH DAY, COLOSSEUM

Thursday

Places we saw on Thursday and that the Italian students did presentations.

We went to the school in the morning to work on this project in groups. The winners of the slogan contest were announced (we won!). We put all then slogans and the pictures around the classroom. We are going to spend the rest of the day walking through Rome and buying things for our families in Spain.
