Save Our planet

Our Planet is called "the blue planet" because it's made up mostly of water. It has different layers. Some of these layers are under the surface. and some layers are around the Earth. Our planet is in danger. We need YOU to save our beautiful home.!! All you need to do is accomplish 4 missions in order to get the code to give the planet some extra time. Ready to help???

The Earth's Imaginary Lines

On maps and globes there are imaginary lines. We use these lines to describe and find a location on the Earth's surface.. These imaginary lines are a bit of a mess right now.... We need YOU to organize this chaos. Do your best and make things clear.!! By the end of this mission you will know about the Earth's imaginary lines., and you will get the first number of the needed code.

LET'S GO

Pay attention to get the information you need to be able to accomplish your mission.

Watch the video and pay attention to all the details.

Here you have the first number of your code!

Congratulations!

The lines are right in their place and you can carry on moving around the planet.

Introduction

The Earth's Movements: Rotation

Rotation is the movement of the Earth on its axis.. It spins around. The Earth takes 24 hours to make a complete rotation. This causes day and night. If the Earth stops rotating, there will always be night on one half of the Earth and always day in the opposite half. We need someone as smart as you to help our Planet Earth. By the end of this mission you will have checked how much you know about rotation and will get the second number of the required code.

05. The Earth rotates on its axis. What is a synonym for rotates?

Orbits

This is the second number of your code!

Congratulations!

Rotation movement is guaranteed and there is still a difference between day & night all along the planet!!.

Oh, No!

back

The Earth has stopped rotating around its axis and global overheating has occurred!!

The Earth Movements: Revolution

start

Revolution is the movement of the Earth around the Sun. The Earth takes 365 days and 6 hours to make a complete orbit of the Sun. This movement causes the seasons. The Earth's axis is starting to be straight and therefore the seasons are changing. and the Earth is now moving

01. What does the Earth's Revolution movement cause?

Choose the right picture.

02. When it's summer in the Southern Hemisphere, in the Northern Hemisphere it's ...

Choose the right picture.

03. How long does it take the Earth to make a complete orbit of the Sun?

Choose the right picture.

04. In the Revolution movement, the Earth orbits around ...

Choose the right picture.

05. The Earth's axis is tilted. What is a synonym of tilted?

keep moving

This is the third number of your code!

Congratulations!

The Earth is still moving around the sun allowing nature to take advantage of the seasons. Air is clean. Another step to save the planet!

back

Oh, no!

The Earth's axis is no longer tilted and there are no seasons. Animals and plants are dying of suffocation from extreme temperatures!

back

Oh, no!

The Earth is crashing into the Sun!!!!

Missions

Introduction

The geosphere is the solid part of the Earth. It includes the rocks and minerals on Earth. The geosphere is divided into layers.
