Kobe Bryant was a basketball player that played between the years 1996 and 2016 in Los Angeles Lakers , a NBA team, he didn't play in more teams than it. He was a shooting guard and he had 2 numbers in his professional career: the 8 and the 24. He also played in the national basketball team having the number 10. He was a tall black man that weighed around 96 kilograms and measured 1.98 meters, a tall stature but still used to be one of the shortest in his position His best-known nickname was "Black Mamba" a nickname that fans didn't invent but himself was the one who invented it because he wanted to have 2 personalities, a rude one in the court and a polite and outgoing one in his private life.

Who was him?

Kobe Bean Bryant, better known as Kobe Bryant, was born on August 23, 1978 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA. He was the son of Joe Bryant,a ex- professional player of the Philadelphia 76ers, and Pamela Cox Bryant. He had two older sisters: Shaya and Sharia Bryant, He didn´t live long in Philadelphia, where did he live most of his childhood? Kobe lived in Italy from the age of 6 to 13. Did he use to be a basketball player when he lived in Italy? No he wasn´t. In Italy he used to be a soccer player, but his father seeing that Kobe was not going to be a basketball player decided to move back to the USA since he wanted his son to play basketball. He returned to the United States in 1991 at the age of 13.

His Early Life.

Lower Merion high-school

Rieti School

When he arrived in Italy Kobe began studying at the Rieti school. When he returned to the United States he entered the Lower Merion Institute. After high school Kobe was going to go to college, but after several tests with NBA teams he decided that he wasn´t going to go to any university, so what did Kobe plan to do? He wanted to go straight from high school to the NBA, and so he did, he entered to the NBA without passing throught the university.

His Education

Kobe Bryant began playing basketball on his high school team, there he discovered that he was brilliant for basketball. After high school he was selected in the 1996 draft by the Charlotte Hornets, but he wasn't going to stay long on that team, where did he go? Kobe was traded to the Los Angeles Laker. He debuted on November 1, 1996 at the age of eighteen. In his first year in the NBA he could not perform at his best due to a large number of injuries. But that setback did not stop him, getting to perform at a high level in his second year, being even compared to Michael Jordan, but he did not like these comparisons since he wanted to be recognized as Kobe Bryant not as the next Michael Jordan, which he made clear on the court raising his statistics and creating a spectacular duo with the center of the Lakers, Shaquille O'neal.

His Early Career

Kobe is mainly known because we was five times NBA champion and also because he is the all-time leading scorer of the Los Angeles Lakers but he achieved many other things, including: -NBA Season MVP (2008) - Five-time NBA champion (2000, 2001, 2002, 2009 and 2010) - Seven times Conference Champion (2000, 2001, 2002, 2004, 2008, 2009, 2010) - Two times NBA Finals MVP (2009 and 2010) - Eighteen times NBA All-Star Game (1998, 2000-2016) - Four times NBA All-Star Game MVP (2002, 2007, 2009, 2011) - Two times NBA Leading Scorer (2006, 2007) - Eleven times NBA's best quintet (2002-2004, 2006-2013) - Basketball Hall of Fame.

His Death

In my opinion Kobe Bryant was a great player and an incredible person, so I admire him because of his great style (In my opinion a very imaginative one) of play and his amazing personality. Also I think that he had one of the greatest mentalities of hard work that a player and a person in general could have.
