LOCATION

CRONOLOGY

The Troubadour´s Tower stairs were probably made of wood. The tower sits on a base of two or three courses of big stones. The exterior is made of alabaster stones, the interior is made of rubblework, and the central filling is made of stone with strong mortar. The corners are made of brick. There are some sulfur coloured bricks over some stones that aren’t alabaster. Another material used was marble for the columns and cast for decoration.
