HOW TO WRITE A REPORT FOR A FIRST CERTIFICATE WRITING
It is a type of Writing in which a past event or experience is analyzed and, normally, suggestions or recommendations are offered to improve that event or experience. In addition, it is one of the Writings type tasks of B2 First (FCE), C1 Advanced (CAE) and C2 Proficiency (CPE).
What is how to write a report for a first certificate writing
You have to make your writing plan. Take about 5 minutes to make your plan which consists of an introduction, a main body and a recommendation. 1. Planning and design of the writing 2. Idea generation 3. The outline
Before writing
Choose a fact for the person reading it to get the information about the report. The objectives of the title are: Describe the content of the article in a specific, clear, exact, brief and concise manner. Allow the reader to easily identify the content of the work Help information managers (documentalists, librarians, etc.) to catalog and classify the material accurately. Attract the reader.
Title
– Use headings because this makes it easier for the reader to find the main information. – Include two or three bullet points below each heading. Make sure all of your points fit with the headings. – Use a variety of specific vocabulary or set phrases (e.g. some thought it was a good idea…/other students said they preferred…)
Main body
– Use formal language – Express opinions impersonally. Do not express recommendations or opinions until the conclusion. – Check your verb forms, spelling, singular/plurals

Choose a question that interests you. You will write better if you know the subject. Please read the instructions carefully before you start. Make annotations. You must include all the points of the instructions in your writing. Make a plan before you start writing. Decide what information to put in each paragraph.
