What is a Basin?
Some interesting facts
A Brief History
Index
By the 18th Century they went quaint and ornate. The bowl started to be integrated into the stand itself and we saw the introduction of mirrors
Bathroom basins seem to originate from washstands In the 16th Century, the wealthy would have a wooden washstand in their bedrooms, which would hold an iron jug of water and a bowl to wash their face and hands. If you weren't wealthy, you just got the jug and the bowl.
A Brief History
1/10 people have pictures of loved ones in their bathroom
85% of bathroom injuries are toilet related
70% of house guests snoop through your bathroom
The average basin should sit between 800-850mm tall
Some Interesting Facts
