It states that for educational applications and services that rely on autonomous decision-making (e.g.AI), three different approaches can be envisaged to deal with the distribution of responsibility between humans and an algorithm/machine :
- Teacher-in-the-loop
- Teacher-out-of-the-loop
- Teacher-over-the-loop
