Limited but Open-Minded

Lublin is the largest city in eastern Poland. Lublin aims to be known as the Polish Capital of Festivals. Most years, Lublin increases the number of festivals held in the city. Santarém Santarém is a city situated on a plateau in central Portugal. High on a plateau, Santarém is a viewpoint over the fertile region of the Lezíria, the Tejo River valley.

Description

• Prepare students for their future role as active citizens.
• Promote understanding of the importance of following a healthy and balanced diet.
• Promote active participation and responsibility in the school context.

• Increase students' autonomy, independence and initiative.
• Improve students' communication, collaboration, decision-making and problem-solving skills.
• Develop students' critical thinking.

Goals

• Dissemination of the project in the educational community.
• Activities related to the environment: ecological workshops.
• Contact with nature: trips to national parks with a biologist and another activies inspired by the surrounding nature/landscape.
• Healthy eating activiti es: research, debate, workshop.
• Activities related to the knowledge of the local heritage: trips, learning about of dance, culinary workshops.
• Sport Activities: learning and playing local games, sports challenges at school and other sporting activities outside of school.

The activities will be carried out for 18 months.
