Lesson expectations

How you participate in daily lessons is up to YOU! You can complete daily lessons in two ways:

We have high expectations for you! You will be expected to put your best effort into everything you do. If you receive a grade you are not happy with, please reach out to your teacher to see if a lesson reset or an Assessment Improvement Plan are available. We know overdue lessons happen, and that's ok! If you are feeling overwhelmed by overdue lessons, reach out to your teachers and see how they can help.

grading and OVERDUE LESSONS

We have eliminated Current Grade vs Projected Grade. Now you have...GRADE! Your grade will reflect any work you have completed PLUS any overdue lessons. Overdue lessons are factored as a zero.

No AI generated answers or essays!

Is this in my own words? Yes No Is this my own Did I cite my sources? thoughts and ideas? Yes NoGood Work! Yikes! You are not plagiarizing. You are plagiarizing!

In today's day and age, we rely heavily on the internet for information. It's a great tool! However, it's important to remember that everything on the internet is SOMEONE ELSE'S WORK! Not only is copying and pasting someone else's words into your lessons or assessments cheating, but you're also losing the opportunity to grow as a student. Plagiarism on lesson answers earns an automatic zero. You may discuss the possibility of a reset with your teacher. Plagiarism on quizzes and tests will earn you an automatic zero with no opportunity to use the Assessment Improvement Plan. Not sure if you've plagiarized? Use the flow chart below to help you!
