  • ROUTES 509-516: ENTER THROUGH THE "B DOORS".
  • ROUTES 501-508: ENTER THROUGH THE "C" DOORS.
  • THOSE STUDENTS WHO ARE EATING BREAKFAST WILL BE DIRECTED TO THE CAFETERIA.
  • STUDENTS NOT EATING BREAKFAST WILL REMAIN ON THEIR BUS UNTIL THEY ARE RELEASED TO CLASS.
  • STUDENTS WILL ENTER THE BUILDING THROUGH THE "G" DOORS.
  • THOSE STUDENTS WHO ARE EATING BREAKFAST WILL BE DIRECTED TO THE CAFETERIA.
  • STUDENTS NOT EATING BREAKFAST WILL BE DIRECTED TO THE GYM TO UNTIL THEY ARE RELEASED TO CLASS.

MCM DISMISSAL PROCEDURES

  • WALKERS & DROP OFFS WILL BE DISMISSED AFTER ALL BUSES HAVE BEEN DISMISSED.
  • STUDENTS WILL EXIT THE BUILDING THROUGH THE "G" DOORS.
  • BUS STUDENTS WILL BE DISMISSED AT 2:19PM.
  • ROUTES 509-516: EXIT THROUGH THE "B" DOORS.
  • ROUTES 501-508: EXIT THROUGH THE "C" DOORS.

WALKERS/DROP OFFS

CELL PHONES: Cell phone use is not allowed at any time while in MCM, this includes the ringing and vibrating of phones during instructional time. Cell phone use during instructional time is a violation of the KCSD Code of Conduct (Level 1, #12/Level 3, #22). All students must turn in their cell phones at the beginning of each class. All classrooms have been provided with numbered over the door pocket organizers. Students will be assigned a number by their teachers during the first week of school. At the beginning of each class students will need to make sure their phones are off/on silent mode and they will place their phone in their assigned pocket. Student cell phones will be confiscated by the classroom teacher for the first offense and returned to the student at the end of the period. Student cell phones will be confiscated by Administration for a second offense and returned to the student at the conclusion of the school day. If a student violates MCM's cell phone policy a third time, their phone will be confiscated by Administration, and a parent/guardian will need to come to school to pick up the phone.This shall also occur for each recurring offense after. Students who use their cell phones to record acts of violence will be subject to the same discipline (ISS or OSS) as students who were directly involved in the act of violence.

DRESS CODE: All students must come to school in appropriate dress. Failure to do so is a violation of the KCSD Code of Conduct (Level 1, #3). Students who are in violation of MCM's dress code with be given a verbal warning for their first offense, (depending on the type of dress code violation) and phone calls home requiring a change of clothes be brought to school will occur for each recurring offense.

MCM DRESS CODE/CELL PHONE POLICY

VAPING POLICYUse of a Vape Pen (Tobacco, or Marijuana), is a direct violation of the KCSD Code of Conduct. (Level 2, #4/Level 4, #9). Students who are in violation of the MCMs Vaping Policy will be subject to appropriate disincline, for each offense. (ISS or OSS). Students may also be subject to Long Term Suspension depending on the number of offenses and other factors.

MCM DAILY SCHEDULE

  • LUNCH IS PROVIDED FOR FREE FOR ALL MCM STUDENTS.
  • EACH GRADE LEVEL WILL BE SPLIT, WITH HALF OF CAFETERIA A AND HALF OF CAFETERA B BEING OUTSIDE 1ST, WHILE THE OTHER HALF OF THE GRADE EATS. STUDENTS WILL SWITCH HALFWAY THROUGH THE PERIOD.
  • IF A STUDENT IS PLANNING TO STAY WITH THEIR TEACHER DURING LUNCH THEY MUST GET A PASS BEFORE COMING DOWN TO THE CAFETERIA TO PICK UP THIER LUNCH. IF A STUDENTS SHOWS UP WITHOUT A PASS THEY WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO GO BACK UP TO THEIR CLASSROOM.

MCM LUNCH PROCEDURES

    • ALL STUDENT ATHLETES WILL NEED TO STORE THEIR EQUIPMENT IN THE GIRL'S/BOY'S LOCKER ROOM EACH MORNING.
    • STUDENTS WILL NEED TO TAKE EVERYTHING THEY NEED WITH THEM, AS THE LOCKER ROOMS WILL BE LOCKED DURING THE DAY, AND STUDENT ATHLETES WILL NOT HAVE ACCESS TO THEM.
    • NO STUDENT ATHLETE IS ALLOWED TO LEAVE THEIR GEAR IN THE MAIN ENTRANCE NEAR MCM'S GREETER.
    • LOCKER USE DURING PRACTICE: STUDENTS WILL BE ALLOWED IN LOCKER ROOMS AT THE BEGINNING OF PRACTICE, LOCKER ROOMS WILL THEN BE LOCKED AND WILL BE OPENED AGAIN AT THE END OF PRACTICE.

SPORTS @ MCM

5TH & 6TH GRADE STUDENTS WILL REPORT TO THEIR HOMEROOM EACH MORNING AND THEN WILL BE SENT TO THER LOCKERS BY THEIR HOMEROOM TEACHERS. 7TH & 8TH GRADE STUDENTS WILL VISIT THEIR LOCKERS ON THE WAY TO THEIR 1ST PERIOD CLASS.ALL COATS MUST BE PLACED INSIDE LOCKERS, AND STUIDENTS WILL NEED TO CARRY EVERYTHING THEY NEED WITH THEM FOR CLASS UNITL THE NEXT DESIGNATED TIME THEY WILL BE ALLOWED TO VISIT THEIR LOCKERS.

STUDENTS WILL BE ALLOWED TO GO TO THEIR LOCKERS FOUR (4) TIMES A DAY.
